I love this article as it gives a framework for comparison. I understand that it wasn't mentioned but if we look the evolution of China in the last 40 yers, it appears to me thatnthey try to join the modern world, even with a different political system. That would also mean they don't want to start wars as countries outside of the modern world typically still do. Sadly, places around the globe that re on the journey towards a modern world for their people are held back by America using sanctions, military threads, and a cold-war mindset. Thanks for providing this perspective. Having lived 50%/50% in USA and EU, this is very helpful.
