Real estate and the stock market are not really connected. The rise in value and prices for real estate is mainly caused by the lack of inventory. There are many more people, especially due to the pandemic, who want to live in a house rather than an apartment, but there is not enough inventory to give everybody an affordable property. That drives prices up and will probably not change. In addition inflation in general increases real estate prices together with everything else. I believe the stock market will crash in the next 12–18 months and the economies around the world will struggle due to ever-increasing debt. Real Estate and other value assets will be the winners when that happens
