How will the changes in geo-politics impact our money and prosperity?
Do you have sometimes a realization that you are interested in something or fascinated by something, or just drawn to something?
For me, that is the case and often I have an idea where the pull comes from. I love gardening because my dad always did it and it was the very first job I had during middle school.
I believe I like leadership because I have lived through a number of massive changes in my life that were often badly handled. I was growing up in Germany and in my youth the economy exploded, allowing my mom and dad to both find good jobs. Then, while I was in the Air Force suddenly world peace broke out due to Gorbatschow’s reforms and collapse of the Soviet Union I had trained endless hours to fight. Then I came to America and leading was totally different — in the military. Then I tried employment, and it was again different. Finally, I started my own company and became an entrepreneur and investor. How to lead through all these changes was something I wanted to learn — admittedly, getting a doctorate in that field is maybe overkill.
