What you are writing about and the way you present your information is feeding a misconception that consequences of actions don't exist anymore. If those who emitted had to pay a fine the economies of the global north were all bankrupt in a day. To turn around and tell 50% of the population of the planet that they have no right to growth or alternatively growth with cleaner means that they have to pay for out of their own pockets is just immensely bad writing and reasoning.
